Z-95 Headhunter MOC 01 by wingzero-01-custom Z-95 Headhunter MOC 01 by wingzero-01-custom
With the change of helmet the Stig is ready to test fly my latest MOC. The Z-95 Headhunter in it's original expanded universe glory.

This has taken about a week to produce, the ship is based from the latest incarnation of the T-65 X-Wing Space Superiority Fighter. Most of the time spent was on making the reactor bubble work both mechanically and aesthetically. The engines and landing gears also went through several evolution's before this final version was produced. All and all I am very proud of this build if I ever find the last lousy part for the cannons they'll be all black at the mounting brackets till then they'll be half and half lol.

As usual I will be posting several more pictures.

THAT is a TRUE Z-95, not that other thing Lego made.

Sadly the other thing Lego made is in the Clone Wars cartoon so from a certain point of view it's cannon. However I do agree that the old school expanded universe version is the true version.

Regardless, this is a masterpiece. I wish I could design that well.
Best I ever did was a crude version of Reti's ship from Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter.

well it's based from the newer x-wings after that it was just trial and error till I was happy with the results. :)

Very cool, colours aren't too important on a prototype, makes it look like it is in development and upgradeable :)

this is true eventually though it will be correctly colored. I'm just fortunate that it's only the cannons that's partially colored wrong plus at least they still match each other lol.
